Further Investment in EPIC Prototyping Suite

EPIC continues to populate its state of the art Prototyping Suite with investment in an XYZTEC bond tester. The equipment will enable tenants to capture critical data for their products and further increase their technical capability. XYZTEC will be working in collaboration with EPIC and have chosen the centre as their UK demo facility. The arrangement will enable them to use the facilities within EPIC to showcase some of their technology to new businesses. Centre Director said “The collaboration with such a high profile European supplier is really exciting. This new equipment will enable tenants to expand the service they offer to their clients. The XYZTEC kit really compliments some of the other equipment we have within EPIC in particular the Palomar systems.”.

EPIC will continue to invest in additional items over the upcoming months to add further value to tenants. Wayne Loschi added “I would encourage any tech business that is considering their current facility and in particular their technical capability to get in touch. Becoming a part of EPIC offers a unique opportunity to influence which items are purchased. Using shared resource purchased by EPIC could enable smaller businesses to win new contracts without the need to invest in their own equipment”.
