Exciting Start to 2021 for Queensgate, a brand of Prior Scientific

Prior Scientific relocated their Queensgate division into EPIC during the summer of 2019 becoming one of the founder tenants of the centre. They are now fully established within EPIC and are a valued member of the local vibrant Hi Tech Cluster.

Queensgate has been a premier supplier of high precision nanopositioning products for over 40 years. The company was founded in 1979 from the groundbreaking research at Imperial College in London and quite literally “wrote the book” on nanopositioning.
Despite these unprecedented times, the business has enjoyed encouraging growth and continued to invest in R&D subsequently releasing two new products since their move into EPIC. Queensgate’s products are present in several sectors including space, astronomy and military. The business also has several high profile clients details of which we are unable to disclose. Fascinatingly, Queensgate’s products are used to test over 50% of the world’s hard drive devices and are supplied to some very satisfied customers.
