QLM Bring their Quantum-Enabled Technology to EPIC
Bristol headquartered QLM Technology have agreed terms to take lab space within the EPIC Centre.
The move will enable QLM to access EPIC's £2.5M worth of prototyping capability, a classified cleanroom and have closer interaction with their partners Bay Photonics.
It is expected that the company will recruit locally building a team of skilled professionals to support colleagues in Bristol with both R&D and production activities.
QLM has developed some of the world's most sensitive remote gas detectors for environmental monitoring. The sensors provide 3D mapping of methane, a key greenhouse gas, and can also be adapted for different gas species.
Chief Executive Officer, Murray Reed is excited with the company's expansion
"After receiving some major investment, QLM took the decision to expand operations into EPIC. We have already appointed a key member of the new Torbay team with more to follow"
EPIC Centre Director, Wayne Loschi, looks forward to welcoming QLM "It's fascinating to see businesses from outside the area choose EPIC as the location for their expansion. QLM will be a great addition to the centre".
