EPIC Increases Its Technical Capability
The Electronics & Photonics Innovation Centre (EPIC) in Torbay (UK) has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art laser marker to further increase the centre’s technical capability.
The equipment was supplied by new technology partner Keyence.
This added technical capability will complement the Assembly, Device Packaging, Fibre Alignment, 3D Printing and Test & Analysis equipment that is already available for EPIC tenants to use.
EPIC Centre Director, Wayne Loschi, is thrilled with the investment “EPIC committed to bringing laser marking into the centre to support the needs of our businesses. This is a fantastic addition to our capability and will be a useful asset to many of our tenants.“
The installation is expected to take place in April after which training will be delivered to EPIC's businesses.
